Ming Yi graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2005 and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2006. Ming Yi initially practised in one of the largest firms in Singapore for more than 5 years, working with 3 senior counsel during his tenure.  After that, he was with the Civil Division of the Attorney-General’s Chambers for almost 2 years before his present appointment. Ming Yi is concurrently a non-practising solicitor on the rolls of Solicitors of England and Wales.

Ming Yi’s practice covers contentious and non-contentious work depending on his client’s needs. Ming Yi has represented clients at all levels of court and arbitration and frequently engages in complex matters involving cross-border issues.

Ming Yi regularly works for local and international institutional clients, both on the contentious and corporate/advisory front.
