Shalin graduated from Murdoch University and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2014.

Shalin started out as a disputes lawyer and has represented clients on various commercial litigation and arbitration matters including investment and construction disputes.

Shalin has since moved into corporate law and regularly acts for clients on a wide range of cross-practice issues involving employment, personal data protection, agency and distribution, international sales of goods, and joint ventures and investment agreements. She is also regularly engaged in governance and commercial advisory matters.
