Reits should be careful with trust schemes of arrangement

Our lawyers, Jaryl Lim and Lim Ming Yi, were recently asked by The Business Times to comment on the viability and legality of trust schemes of arrangements for REITs-restructuring purposes.

This came after they had recently represented a minority unitholder in the Singapore High Court to oppose the sanctioning of a REITs trust scheme back in March 2021.
