Jia Yu graduated Magna cum Laude from the Singapore Management University in 2021 with the Juris Doctor degree, and was admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2022. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science from the National University of Singapore.

Having previously practised as a litigation and arbitration lawyer, Jia Yu has since moved into corporate law. Her present practice engages local and international clients on a variety of corporate and commercial matters, including general corporate advisory, corporate transactions, employment, governance, licensing and distribution matters.
